S for Lisp.

This next poem is for everyone who's ever been made fun for the way that they talk.

Como a maioria das pessoas sabe eu tenho o sotaque relativamente carregado. Muitas vezes (quase sempre e se não sempre) não consigo evitar inventar "j" no meio das palavras. Sempre que há um "s" e a palavra seguinte começa com uma vogal um "j" simplesmente surge no meio. Por exemplo, "as aulas" , para os outros o que eu digo é "as jaulas". Não é um sotaque característico de onde vivo, devo ser uma esponja. De qualquer maneira já fui muuuuuuuitas vezes gozada por ter este sotaque. Actualmente, já levo a rir e já disse às pessoas que eu vou continuar a falar assim porque é, de facto, a minha maneira de falar. Então, deixo aqui este poema e aproveitem :D

As most of you guys know I have a accent a bit heavy. Alot of times (almost every single time, if not always) I can't help but put a "j" in the middle of the words. This is actually something that I suppose only happens in the portuguese language since in english I don't have that problem! But, in portuguese, there are certain words that end with a "s" and if the next word starts with a vowel a "j" just pops in the middle of the words. For exemple, I'm going to try to explain to you. "As Aulas" mean "The Classes", so, when I say it, what the people hear is "As Jaulas" which in english stands for "The Cages". Yup. It's not even the accent of the place I live! And I've never lived in any other place! Anyway, I've been made fun for this heeeeeeell of alot for having this accent. Nowadays, I just laugh with the people and I say that I will continue to talk like this just because it is my way of speaking! So, I leave you with this poem. Enjoy :D
